This is from switchknife. It tells you how many people use your lj, although I'm not sure what that exactly means. I'm going to watch it for a while and see what happens. I'm sure I'll understand eventually. I don't know if you have to click on it to make it work. ETA: Now I understand!

In other news, I have some minor revisions to do on the paper of ultimate dooom, which some of you may remember me wittering on about a while ago. Also, it's too long, by 400 words. So not only do I have to add some more to the conclusions, I have to cut bits out too. Oh joy. But there is a silver lining - I might get my travel and accomodation paid, and it's in Istanbul!

(you'll notice there's a code appended to the URL, and it's different for everybody; however, the part that does the job must be hidden in the Perl script... *wishes she were a real geek*)

Ooh, thanks! That's a far clearer explanation than was on the site.

Maybe one day you'll be a real geek :D You're ahead of me - I've no idea what perl script does.
