*flails at wanky formatting*

I'm trembling on the brink of finishing the paper, with over 24 hours to go before the submission deadline. Ah, the raw beauty of my enhanced metafile Excel charts!

This afternoon I am meeting dear friend G who is selfishly leaving me to make her fortune on the other side of the world. I am helping her choose a wash bag, but may have to drag her to the rag market, for rags. I'd love to find a copy of The Charioteer, by Mary Renault, but I don't even know if it's in print anymore. The last time I saw it anywhere was the public library about 15 years ago.

I have the one with a picture of a classical bust wearing a WW2 helmet, which I prefer to the new art. (The new art for this isn't as bad as the new art for the Alexander books, which makes them look like Steven Pressfield's horrors.)

Yep, that's the one I've got.

My Fire From Heaven and Funeral Games are from this style (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0099463474/ref=sr_aps_books_1_1/026-7984416-3210050), which I quite like, apart from the little pictures on the spine. My Persian Boy is an ancient Bantam (http://www.anejo.nu/gallery/view_photo.php?set_albumName=bookscans&id=aaa), which I would like more if the text wasn't so incredibly 1970s.
