This is my bid for obscure fandom-dom. I did the contrelamontre this week. It wasn't quite the Klaus/Dream I was planning to write, but they just took control of my biro and wouldn't let go until Leamington Spa.

*g* Thanks. I'm just far too angsty; I could angst for England! I can't realistically see the things I want to happen happening - it seems to be a case of trying to work through it. *sigh*

In the meantime, I'll just be making a fool of myself and posting out everything on here. :) It's useful story material when I look back on it a few months later!

The story even works if you're not familiar with one of the fandoms. I'm familiar with Sandman, but I know nothing about From Eroica With Love, and I've never heard of Klaus Eberbach.

I especially loved how tough and brave Klaus was trying to be, and how vulnerable he really was. And Dream does seem very much like the first Morpheus.

Klaus Eberbach is an NATO major, known as Iron Klaus as he's so tough. He's very beautiful, but he's also terribly sexually repressed though, and quite likely a virgin. (Hey, what realism? This is manga, we're talking about here!) I'm really pleased with your comment, because it suggests that I got some of that across.

And Dream does seem very much like the first Morpheus.

I had no idea if I'd got Dream (yes, he is the the first one) right at all-- he's quite a miserable, sardonic kind of character. I'm glad you think it worked.
