Sep. 1st, 2003 09:22 pmDo you get to a certain age and start liking Elton John? I'm having my own personal Reg Dwight fest here, and loving it. I don't know what happened after the 70's, but during them he and Bernie Taupin wrote some amazing songs.
I don't know why, but I really needed to go and read Ghosts by Torch again. It's still fabulous. Mulder/Krycek, mmmmm.
And to round off this entry of randomness, I now know everything there is to know about leather.
Oh, and

Date: 2003-09-01 05:15 pm (UTC)I've always been that age, but then...I'm very, very old. In fact, the first live concert I ever saw was Elton John, Halloween night, 1974. Kiki Dee opened for him, and he drove out on stage in a convertible, and he wore a feather boa.
I love me my Elton. *g*

Date: 2003-09-02 12:49 am (UTC)I am so very much hipper at 27 than I was at 17, though. Maybe I'll explode in a supernova of trend when I'm about 40. Which would at least be amusing for spectators.
