[livejournal.com profile] tboy's quiz. I enjoyed filling this in, it let me waste time and I can pretend it was productive. At least I was writing something, I can tell myself.

1. How many fandoms are up on your walls?

One, Star Trek TOS. That picture of Kirk and Spock taken from above, I love it, and my mum likes it too, although she doesn't quite understand the significance to me. *g*

2. What was the last show you taped?

Buffy

3. What's the url for a bad, bad site *eg*?

Bad as in naughty bad or awful bad?

4. Favourite dessert:

Baked cheesecake

5. What's one really good thing you cook?

Roast potatoes

6. What have you tried to cook and failed dismally at?

Any Chinese food

7. Favourite cocktail:

Italian Sundae: Vodka, Amaretto, orange juice, cherry brandy.

8. Earliest sexual fantasy:

Er, can't remember.

9. Last sexual fantasy:

Um. I don't think I'll answer that.

10. First online fandom:

The X-Files - Mulder/Krycek slash

11. Are you still in contact with your first online friends?
Yes, one of them, quite regularly.

12. Still subscribed to your first mailing lists?

No, I unsubbed RatB only quite recently though. I never checked it anymore, so there was little point hanging on.

13. You've been granted three online wishes. What are they?

They'd be for stories: Torch to write a sequel to 'A Spirit of Brotherhood'; Ellen Fremedon to write a nice, long Good Omens story with lots of sex in it, because quite frankly the UST in this fandom is killing me; Um, can't think of a third right now.Ah, yes I can. For me to find a site full of slash stories based on the game 'Thief', betwen Garrett and the mysterious Keeper. That would make me very happy.

14. What's the last fic you read?
Ocardby Halrloprillalar

15. Did you like it?

Yes, it did all the things a good drabble should, ie leave you wanting more, but being satisfyingly complete in itself, and it leaves you mulling over the subtext like anything.

16. What's the last fic you gave feedback for?

Twofish, by a demon of his word. It bounced back.

17. How many email addresses do you have?

Three; one main one, a yahoo one and an old one that's covered in spam.

18. Prefer Hollywood or movies with subtitles?
Both, depending on how much effort I want to put in.

19. What's your favourite dip?

I don't have one, they're all good. I love the pickles and raita you get with poppadums in Indian restaurants. That's the most enjoyable bit of the meal for me.

20. Ever done any work for a charity?

Yes, shop work for Oxfam; coppicing for the BTCV. I had a paid admin job for an animal charity once, but the boss was a real stinker. One day I disagreed with him over a small matter, and he told me not to bother coming back the next day. Ugh, he was a prick.

21. How fannish is your RL?

It's quite fannish, both my partner and one of best friends are into sci-fi novels, and have a few links with fandom that way, mostly though zines like Ansible. No one else I know is into fanfiction though.

22. Fic challenges - join up, or avoid?

Join up if I'm feeling like it's good thing to do. Depends on the challenge too.

23. If you have a partner, what's their best feature? If you don't, what do you like in general?

His best feature is that he never gets boring. There's always something new to talk about.

24. Describe your voice:
Quite high, and mixture of Flat East Midlands and Southern vowels. People say it's 'distinctive', though what they mean by that I'm never sure.

25. Do your RL friends and online friends now overlap?
Not really. I have met one online friend in person, but I'm looking forward to meeting a lot more of them at Connotations this autumn.
