Week in the life meme, day 7

louiseluxThe last day. What a slog! But by tonight I had got the uploading and making posts down to a fine art. I hope people have found it interesting - it's been good to do, and I gave it a lot more thought than I thought I would.
Sunday
Today was not a great day for me. I thought a lot about my mum and felt very down; it was inevitable considering the onslaught of Mother's Day advertising that's been blasting away for the past two weeks. It doesn't help that it's almost sixth months to the day, and it's her birthday next Sunday. These earrings are the last present she ever bought me, on the day when we went shopping the week before she died. I hardly ever wear them in case I lose one:
At about two pm Mr Lux prised me out of the house for a walk. A door with an interesting name:
We went to the train station to see the brand new station building. It's very shiny, and underneath they've opened up one of the original Victorian tunnels and retiled it and made it usuable so that getting from one part of Reading to the other suddenly takes about one minute rather than 15. After doing that torturous Reading-Birmingham commute for six years you'd think I'd loathe train stations, but instead it's the opposite. I'm very fond of them.
And then we went to the giant shop of secondhand dvds, where I might have bought season 6 of Spn. All right, it looks like I'm going to be watching this thing after all.
Our hedge. Mr Lux put some warning tape around a sticky out branch last year after he'd cut it - he didn't want anyone to hurt themselves on it:
And FINALLY. Watching the last ever Being Human. Oh my heart.
