Tennis picspam
May. 31st, 2010 01:57 pmI've been posting these over on my tennis obsession tumblr, Swiss Navy, but
morebliss thoughfully pointed out that means she doesn't get to see them on lj.
This about about two weeks worth of pics, with my random little comments added in. :D
Some of them you can click to embiggen:

Rafa is all 'omg yay!' about his horrible shirt. He's so adorable! And girly. I have a 'girly rafa' tag just for pictures like this.

I love his serious little face.

Roger striking a pose on clay. Note how the hair has arranged itself perfectly. I think he's trained it especially.

This is just the prettiest picture ever of Rafa, even if he has got something up his nose.

Rafa's breakfast!

This goes in my 'girly Rafa' tag.

But I mixed with him a little bit when I was working with Gael (Monfils) in the juniors. One day, in Roma, we met him, he was wearing a tracksuit with a big number 2. I told him, ‘This is not the right number’ and he answered laughingly, “It is, on clay, it’s the right number.” — Olivier Delaitre

Run awaaaay. Do not get the hair wet!

Gah, he's so pretty.

SO MANLY!

Happy Mand! It’s probably better when he doesn’t smile. But he looks so sweet.

Body language <3

Uncle Toni’s tum tum! <3

Rafa’s first round opponent, Gianni Mina. Cuteness.

Touching shoulders at the Madrid trophy ceremony.

Nuclear Wintour watching Roger’s exhibition match in Paris.

Jo looking super suave!

It's important to keep your hands in lovely condition with plenty of iodine.

Roger and Ana - I find this picture strangely arousing. I'm probably wrong.

Roger and Novak - I find this picture strangely arousing. I'm probably wrong.

AND FINALLY

OMG! That is OUTRAGEOUS! As Robbie Keonig would say.

I wonder what Rafa is jigging about to?
“And though you turn from me, to glance behind
The Phantom of the Opera is thereeeeee…
Inside your mind!”
SO MANLY!

“Happy for the win, it’s always important to win, but I played terrible!!!”

No, no! It is the delicate way Roger's hand is resting on top of his, I think, and then something about the way he is holding the ball and racket, and also that look of intent. I have had a soft spot for them since the US Open.
