I swear watching tennis is actively bad for my blood pressure. Roger has just managed to get himself broken twice in the first set by bloody Albert Montanes. Christ. WHY ROGER WHY.

ETA: Roger broke back, then got broken again in the next game. Omg, appalling.

I assume he either doesn't give a shit, or for some specific reason his level really has slipped this low. But people have reported that he's been pretty intense in practices recently, so I don't know. Just a bad day? He lost the first set 6-2.

Holy chocolate balls, that was BAD. I mean, he does seem to be a lot more tenacious at slams, and it's best of five, so perhaps things won't be as bad at RG as this suggests. But I can't see him retaining his Madrid title by a long mark. Still, I hope he proves me wrong.
