Things following angry cats

In 2005 Dr Daina Taimina decided to knit some maths to work out if it could be represented in three dimensions, and discovered that she'd knitted the forms of coral, thus melding together knitting, maths and marine biology. Amazing! This is my 'I don't really get this' explanation, but it's really a wonderful thing: The Hyperbolic Coral Reef

And I might've bought my mum some 'knit your own coral reef' crochet patterns.

I've been working on bags all day. Delicious coffee drinks are calling me from town, so that's where I'm going now. Then writing.

Happy coffee, and writing. Those cats ... Made me smile! And yes that explanation went over my head but ... o so pretty!

*hugs* - I am good the children are growing up far too quickly and hubby still makes me laugh!

*hugs* have a great weekend ahead ok!

Hey, hubby still making you laugh is one of the best signs ever, in my opinion. He's got to be able to amuse you AND keep you in stylish shoes, after all.

The coffee was good - a frappucino! I might have to go for another one today. ~slurps

Hah! I never got past crocheting (round) oven cloths, but that is awesome! :D

Right! It looks kind of complicated too, but then I never learned to knit either, and I think knowing how to knit would help.
