buckle_berry is coming to sunny Reading tomorrow! I can't wait!

That's not all, we are going to camp out at Wimbers overnight to try and get tickets for Roger's match on Centre Court. I know, this is terminal insanity. The tent is airing in the garden at the moment. The plan is to hit Wimbledon by about 10pm tomorrow, which is the earliest we can make it because of buckle_berry's train. This might be early enough to be in line to get Centre Court tickets, but then again it might not be. But either way I think it's going to be pretty hilarious. Camping! For Roger! If all fails we will get grounds tickets and roam around inside. If anyone else is going on Monday and fancies a meet up, drop me a comment and maybe we can attempt to find each other in the throngs?

We tried booking through Ticketmaster, but Ticketmaster is the work of Satan and says no.

Apparently there are very keen stewards who patrol the camping, so I doubt we'll be able to set fire to anything. But yes, warming beverages (aka booze) and gay songs of tennis fun!

I'd propose for you to sleep over in my place if you wanted, it's in walking distance, but I guess you'll lose your place in the queue...

I wish I knew earlier you were coming so I'd join you guys there, but I've been to the courts twice this week, and I can't face going again, I queued for six hours for bloody ground tickets this morning, watched Oudin vs Jankovic and Wawrinka vs Levine, and have now returned with possibly a sunstroke.

If the offer still stands, could we possibly crash over at your place on Monday night instead? We're thinking of staying on Tuesday and getting in the queue (insanity) for Wednesday semi finals tickets. I shall be with buckle_berry, who you might know from Harry Potter fandom and or Lotrips?

Good luck with that! I put my name in the draw for Wimbledon tickets every year while I was living around London and got squat from it. I never had the patience to go and line up overnight!

It all seems hit and miss about getting tickets for the show courts, it's so hard! But at least we'll get a grounds ticket if nothing else.

oooh.. I would have love to have seen this post and meet one of my favorite fedal writer. We only got court 2 Monday... but got resale for court one in afternoon. And we arrived sunday @ 6pm...

I think there were people in line for Monday when I queued Saturday Morning... so yup I do point that out to friends when they tease me of my recent addiction.

We did!!! We saw Roger and it was so amazing. Oh my god. I have a million pictures to post.
