I met [livejournal.com profile] buckle_berry and [livejournal.com profile] tarteaucitron a couple of weeks ago. We went to Spitalfields market, totally ignored it and went to the pub instead where we talked for five hours solid about tennis, merlin, tennis, slight harry potter, and tennis. They both possess extreme levels of charm and I love them. I was really very drunk when I got home.

Then today I noticed that you can actually buy [livejournal.com profile] tarteaucitron as a mix in a box. What a time to be alive!

But... but... but.. this looks like a lemon cake! Not a lemon tart!

Argh. Reality intruded.

Now I am sadly disappointed and will have to drown my sorrows in a cup of tea.

:(

Tea solves all woes, even those caused by discovering one's tarte is actually a cake.

I can't deny that Mandy's dingy socks may have come into things now and again, but proceedings were dominated by Roger, mostly. And Rafa.

I so want to go with them to Wimbledon! I literally can't wait.

Dr Oetker has recently approached me about plans to reconsitute me with water and an egg. To be honest I find him rather sinister. It's the goggles and latex gloves that worry me.

Isn't it lovely when you can do that? [livejournal.com profile] wedjateye and I met at Glasgow airport a few years back. I was a bit scared because I'm rubbish at small talk but it was so nice. We laughed and talked for 3 hours solid.

Yes, it's so brilliant to make connections like that, even if it's scary beforehand. Maybe it's the hours spent blethering together online but often there's a sense for me of an instant comfort zone.

Exactly! I do not approve of the sinister Dr Oetker and their nasty perversions.

You could have berries with your tarte!
