Update on tennis, life and fangirling

Rogelio has gone on tennis hiatus, having pulled out of the Stockholm event that was due to start on Monday. God, I am having tennis withdrawal symptons. Send help.

I don't know what kind of help that might be, but MAYBE it involves hot hot tennis pr0n. Write me it, peoples.

A thing I'm proud of: I finally posted my girl Hakkai story, which puddingcat reminded me has actually been going on for about a year, since we last sat in the bar at connotations. I have a lot of fond memories of that long weekend sitting around on those enormous sofas with the squeefest gang and talking utter crack to each other.

The best thing is, I'm off to connotations again tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it so much, even though I totally failed to buy a sexy dress for the moderately tidy dinner. So I will be moderately tidy rather than glam. I so hope it's sunny so we can walk on the beach and plot crazily. Tynemouth has such a beautiful beach and the hotel is right across from the sea. Every year I go I end up longing to buy a seafront house and live there.

Oh, also! I bought 'Roger Federer - quest for perfection', and it has a chapter on Roger's character. The chapter is called 'firm but nice'! I'll be regailing you with details of this tome, so stay tuned.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just checked in online (which seems a bit odd, as I have also checked in to return from Newcastle!) - wow, they're strict with their baggage policy for doing that. Handbags, laptops, etc have to be inside the single piece of luggage - mind you, I'm glad not to have paid another tenner for airport check in. It looks like my boots won't be coming with me, alas.

Now, where did I put my moderately tidy sandals . . ?

The tome is fascinating. Although, as with all things Roger, it may still leave you with a feeling of "Hmmm ... so with all this information, what is it that they're still not telling me?" :D
