Things that make me happy:

[livejournal.com profile] saiyuki_manga has some images from beautiful Salty Dog 5.

The latest chapter of Saiyuki over at [livejournal.com profile] radiofreebanri, where it looks like it turns into a fanfic. I'm sure I've read that one where Nii takes them all back to Houtou for experimentation. Ni turns their respective powers to so much nothing. How do they even fight him, at all? I have no idea.

Oh, just fyi, there is a new challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] saiyuki_time - this week, it's about clothes.

[livejournal.com profile] daegaer insisting that I write a robot au. Robot tennis au. Rafa Nadal is discovered to be a tennis bot in the middle of the Wimbledon final. I know, stop looking at me like that! She thinks I'm already writing it. I suspect she is already writing her OWN robot au.

Things to make me sad:

R Fed lost his match today at the Cincinnati Masters, where he should be winning. Or, if not winning, at least in serious contention. I wasn't able to keep track of the scores, from nerves. God. You know, I am suddenly learning how people get totally over-invested in sport.

If Djoker hadn't beat him today (**** you, Djoker! GET OUT OF THE WAAAAYY!!!) I would have sworn on some fairly sacred graves that Rafa was an alien.

I, for one, welcome our new World Number One overlords.

Mmmm hmmm.

I suppose he had to get beat at some point, and Rafa clearly has had some of the stuffing knocked out of him, even just mentally. I think because of getting enough points to finally become number one. It's like when you get in view of the finishing line and the energy just leaks out of you.
