Vampires in the fog

Um, I seem to have written more than five thousand words about Edwardian vampires (working title: Vampires in the fog).

This is quite exciting! I even have a part two planned. But no part three, sadly. Maybe I won't need a part three. Part two have to wait until I've finished my Sweet Charity story, unless I absolutely can't restrain myself. Vampires in the Fog is really a Saiyuki AU, with Hakkai as a dark and sinister Romanian count, exiled a particularly damp and foggy part of England and Gojyo is the increasingly confused young man he seduces makes tooth marks in.

However, I need to really get on and write more of Sweet Charity, which is hovering around the 8k mark after last week's drastic prune. Drastic prunes! They are good for you. I've struggled through the painful part of shuffling the characters into place and now things can move forward, unless I've now forgotten what's supposed to happen. I did write it down somewhere...

In other, and not related, vampire news, I watched 8 episodes of RH Plus, all the while muffling my cries of glee at the painful acting and terrible plots combined with brain melting levels of pretty. I think daegaer sums it up best, and I quote: it's like pure liquid manga applied to the eyeballs by angsty gay vampiric hot guys.

So what's your Sweet Charity about? It is sort of like the musical?

What is RH Plus? I could stand to watch something sort of mindless and entertaining about angsty gay vampires.

Sweet Charity is the name of the organisation that I'm writing it for: http://www.sweet-charity.net/

Basically people bid for your services, and the winning bid gets donated to the charities that the site supports, so this one I'm writing for was for the Writers Guild Hardship fund.

Um, I hope that's not really confusing! The story I'm writing for Sweet Charity is a Saiyuki AU where Gojyo is a kelpie unable to change, and then is doctored with a combination of science and magic.

RH + is utterly mindless and pretty and fun and I heartily recommend it! The download links are in daegaer's lj, if you scroll back a few posts.

Ah I look forward to Edwardian period Vampires, mainly because I am trying to see Gojyo as the increasingly confused young man? ;) I imagine Hakkai is the most cheery vampire he's ever met.

Eeee, Edwardian vampire Hakkai! That's three of my very favorite things combined into one story! *squeals joyfully* And Gojyo as the Innocent Maiden (or whatever the male equivalent of maiden is) seduced by the naughty vampire count is too perfect. I cannot wait to see this. *bounces excitedly*

Oh my goodness! Saiyuki vampire AU for the win. I'm sure the Sweet Charity characters would graciously concede the stage for a bit for Edwardian vampires! ( *g*, that is to say-- inasmuch as I eagerly await the terrific SC story, I totally get being seduced by Romanian vampire!Hakkai. No haste necessary on my behalf!) :)
