Saiyuki challenge comm

There seems to be some interest in a Saiuyuki timed challenge community along the lines of contrelamontre, so I'm willing to make one. How about 'saiyuki time' as a name? Or maybe saiyuki timed? Unless someone can think of a more clever one I'll probably go with that.

I'm thinking that it might give out one challenge a week, with a set length of time to spend writing it. Slash, gen, het, any pairing welcome. It sounds like fun! Y/N?

How about a name based around Journey to the West? "Day trip to the west" is probably too long, but that sort fo thing.

I'm definately game, though I don't know how often I'll be able to participate.

It might be fun if you set something of a reward. Either by making a poll every week with the fics handed in the week before where everyone can vote for the best fic, or in the way they do it at wk_100 (every writer decides on a team that week's fic will award the points too, so either the Sanzo-ikkou, the Kougaji-ikkou or some other group, and the one with the most points/stories dedicated to them wins that round. Also an option is to give free choice and let them give points to certain characters. You could even make it so that the word-count of the fic resembles the number of points appointed or something.

As for a name... Hoe about "West in a Week" or something of the like?

Oh and if you need help, if only in coming up with quotes and subjects or something, I think the idea is awesome enough to want to help! ^^
