I second what burntcopper says. Listen to your body, not the scale. I've been working out on an elliptical since November, 3-5 times per week. I have lost exactly ZERO pounds! My stamina has definitely improved, my thighs are less jiggly, and my Ireland vacation weight gain (two weeks of pub food and stout! Eek!) fell off almost instantly, but if I were using the scale as my only guide, I'd probably have given up entirely.
