Mail squee: I got a Happy January card in the post today, which was a very nice thing to receive and something that should become a tradition. Inside was the most fantastic story about Gojyo and Hakkai. I read it on the train and cooed happily over it for a long while, rereading and generally clutching it to my breast with joy. So, thank you rheasilvia: you made my commute to work today a very happy thing.

I was going to post a timestamp meme fic this afternoon, but I forgot to bring it on my stick to work, woe. But, see, I have been writing them!

Oh, I'm so glad you liked the story! I was worried it would be too... well, too much of whatever it is. :-) And I think that I, for one, will definitely uphold the tradition of Happy January cards in future Januaries. *g*

It was intense, that story. Sort of a no-holds-barred way of approaching their relationship. It also felt a very fresh look at the two of them too, and I loved that.

I sincerely hope it does become a tradition. I could use more cards like that in January. :)
