LJ payments

Did I miss the memo about automatic Livejournal payments? Because I had no idea that my account status is set so I am to be billed automatically for my paid account every six months, until I quite randomly clicked on my account status while trying to find something else. Either I have been extremely vague about keeping up with site changes, or LJ is pulling a fast one. Yeah, I can turn automatic payments off, but the default setting seems to have them turned on. Which I think is a little bit sneaky.

You're right! When last I paid there was no automatic setting. I was due to renew on 09/09 (my birthday) and I've just checked and I'm now paid till 08/12. So not cool.

Arrgh. I knew it was fishy, because I am certain I didn't click any button marked 'automatic payments' last time I paid. Are you going to complain? I am... not that I think it will actually do any good.
