In other news

The doctor said I had tendonitis. Which sucks. I am trying to rest my arms, but that means actually not doing anything at all that involves hands. Oh god. So far today I have watched five episodes of Firefly and been out to buy a wrist splint and ibuprofen gel. The wrist splints make my arms feel bionic and impervious, but I am wary of letting it go to my head. The light on the edge of my dark cloud is BSG season 2, which arrived today.

... I think I'll try a very small amount of writing and see how it feels.

Bummer about the tendonitis, but with any luck you'll recover quickly? And in the meantime don't the wrist braces make you feel just a little like the wrist guards samurai characters always wear in anime? Like you should really go fling a sword about just because you happen to be wearing them?

In any case, congrats on BSG arriving. It's such an awesome show. And I hope you're not entirely cut off from writing because that would be enough to drive a body mad, right there.
