I watched three episodes of Battlestar Galactica S1 (new series) last night.

The two Boomers totally confused me to begin with, and I needed some prompting from Matt to remember the pilot ep, and then it all came clear. Boomer! I like her. So tragic and confused and multiple. I also really like Starbuck and her eternal 'yes, I'm taking the piss out of you' attitude. I also really like the President. She says and does things you wouldn't quite expect, in a very disarming way.

The bad doctor is hilarious, in a way, always having two conversations at the same time, one real and one imaginary. Apollo is very metrosexual.

One more day till my week off begins, thank god.

Battlestar! *glee* I love the new show. I own seasons one and 2.0, have a standing date with a group of guys to watch the new eps as they come out (although we're currently on summer break for that show which bites) and simply cannot get enough of Starbuck (for the cool, insubordinate asskicking-ness) and Gaius (for the sheer twistedness, because yes: conversations of double entendre on perpetually doubled levels are just such fun).

And thanks for the sleepy kitten link. That was beyond adorable, really. XD

Whee, one more for the BSG ship :D (I've been mercilessly pimped into this fandom, so now I enjoy seeing new converts fall for it ;)

I like Sharon and Boomer too! In fact, I like most of the characters, which makes this so good. Six and Baltar are fun to hate, because they're played by such good actors they're practically one with the part. Strange enough, it's Lee I'm mostly indifferent to.

I don't have a BSG icon yet, though, so you get old school!DW. ;)

Hmm, I don't think I'm very surprised Rose is leaving the show. The set-up for this series seems to be "something bad is going to happen/you have to grow up" (the Queen foreshadowed that pretty well in "Tooth and Claw").

I'm currently trying to fight off BSG ignore that icon!, I don't need to watch anymore television, dammit!

Battlestar Galactica S1

I've sort of watched Battlestar, in that I tend to be online at the same time. I do like it though, I've seen to the end of the second season. Although Starbuck and Boomer being female still bothers me a bit.

Ooh, I'm sure that you will enjoy that! If you want to do anything, like lunch in the park, let me know. But if you don't, don't worry, I understand. Time off is for being self-indulgent ^_~!
