Is anyone looking for inspiration? If so, I will put my ipod on shuffle and hand you the first three or four lines of the first song it plays, and then you write a story inspired by them, or a part of them. It can be of any length, fandom, filthy kink, etc.

ps, the management is not to be held responsible if you get Abba.

No, thank you. Not at this moment. I couldn't handle it.

Iggy Pop - Tonight

I saw my baby,
She was turning blue,
Oh, I knew that soon, her
Young life was through

(okay, you get four lines because otherwise that would make no sense *g*)

Iggy Pop - Tonight

I saw my baby,
She was turning blue,
Oh, I knew that soon, her
Young life was through

The girl twisted and arched against the cheap sheets, her hands opening and closing, her mouth gasping.

A man was entitled to a little R&R, especially after a hard day battling evil. Being surrounded by people who were convinced they were damned was depressing, and it felt good to blow off steam. As long as he didn't do it too often and didn't leave incriminating evidence, everything was fine. He was one of the good guys. That was what everyone had to remember.

The girl moaned and flung an arm out wildly, knocking the flimsy alarm clock off the bedside table to break on the floor. Not to worry, it had come free with the large size pack of cornflakes recently. He'd seen ones like it in the supermarket.

He had a tough life, always at the beck and call of those who felt criminals should be quietly hunted down rather than futilely pursued through the courts. He agreed - the law was, as that English book said, an ass. It wasn't the killing that got him down, it was the constant soul-searching, the constant whining. Kill the bastards and forget them, that was his motto.

The girl's eyes were locked on his, pleading for release. Come one, come on, he didn't want to get home too late, he had an early morning meeting.

Mixing business and pleasure was the problem. He knew that both were needed in life, that they couldn't be allowed get out of balance. Lots of people got the balance wrong - the boss, for example, seemed to think the world would end if he ever did something purely to please himself. The boss's friends were all nutcases - inappropriately hung-up on their sisters, or liking the killing in a way that was just sloppy, or getting off on strangling girls while fucking them.

Speaking of which.

The girl stopped drumming her heels, and gave a long rattling sigh, her eyes fluttering closed. Finally. He never could get it up while they were staring at him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the condom. The thing to do, he thought idly as he positioned himself, was to work on more precision with his telekinesis. Leave enough students with finger-shaped bruises on their necks and the boss would think Kudou was up to his old tricks, and would tearfully, sorrowfully give the order to have him dealt with.

The thought of how much Mamoru would whine and agonise over it made him laugh almost too much to come.

Eeeeee! Nagi and Iggy Pop together are so disturbing! He's quite right though, Weiss are so fucked up, really. Omg that last line!

Heh, thanks!

Nagi thinks he's the normal one, really. Fucking someone while you're strangling them - that's a bit off. Fucking them afterwards, well, that hardly counts.

Oooo! me me!
*waves hand about*
*stuffs the list of prompts and such she already has to write aside - needs something new and random to get juices flowing after the hiatus*

I'll take one! =^.^=

Yay! You get Tangled by Maroon 5

I'm full of regret
For all things that I've done and said
And I don't know if it'll ever be ok to show
My face 'round here

Oh, I have enough stuff lying around not being written to add one more to the list without feeling too guilty about that one :P

So shuffle please. It's a great idea!

Hurray, in that case, have some lyrics. You drew Neil Young, A Man Needs a Maid:

My life is changing in so many ways
I don't know who to trust anymore
There's a shadow running through my days

Is there a time limit on this? I'm not so good with time limits. But if you don't care whether the story is posted next month or sometime in late 2010, yes! Please inspire me.

No time limits, do it whenever you like. Woo you got Abba, The Day Before you Came!

Must have left my house at eight, because I always do
My train, Im certain, left the station just when it was due
I must have read the morning paper going into town

I've never actually heard that song. Huh.

*studies the prompt thoughtfully*

This says amnesia to me. Or maybe Dead Zone. ...Hmmm. Both?

And, hey, do you want a prompt in return? My media player lies at your disposal.

Yes please!

If you like I can upload the song it for you to listen to?

Oooo! Please do upload the song; that'd be fantastic.

And you got a good prompt, I think. I'm going to offer you two versions of it. The traditional (as in, the tradition you just inaugurated yesterday) first-three-lines prompt:

Something ugly this way comes
Through my fingers sliding inside
All these blessings all these burns

If you can't work with this one, I offer you the three lines that come right after that, because you might do better with these:

I'm godless underneath your cover
Search for pleasure search for pain
In this world now I am undying

The complete song is Black Black Heart, by David Usher, and if you don't have it, I will gladly upload it.

*settles back and waits for a story to appearr*

Give me inspiration! (For I am now stranded at my mother's house until later, woe.)

But only if you include a filthy kink to go with it. *g*

I swear this was totally by chance! You got Filthy Gorgeous by Scissor Sisters.

When you're walkin' down the street
And a man tries to get your business
And the people that you meet
Want to open you up like Christmas

Ummm, how about some filthy crossdressing?
