Hakkai was being discreet. Terribly discreet. Again. Sanzo wasn't sure he could stand it. He grimly ignored Hakkai's stealthy body language, mirrored and distorted by Gojyo's brash, brazen lounging. They kept creeping closer to each other, and looking at each other, and accidentally touching each other. Well, Hakkai made it look accidental -- Gojyo just yawned, stretched and mysteriously found his arm lying across Hakkai's shoulders.

"Go!" Sanzo snarled. "Go, on! Get to your damn room and do whatever you want!"

They fled, leaving him with a confused and voluble Goku. He sighed.

He'd hated them less before all the sodomy.

Hey, I finished the series, and there is some interesting discussion going on about it at my LJ-- come on over and join in the analysis of symbolic drownings, Jin's glasses, and what exactly is going on when Jin says, "What if I..." and Fuu replies, "No, because Mugen..." and neither of them ever finish those clearly deeply significant sentences.
