I had a dream about Simon Pegg flirting with a nice man on my parents' back lawn. It was a nice, if terribly unexpected, dream to have.

Back in reality-land (I think) my friend tells me he met Simon Pegg in an off licence, spontaneously bought him a bottle of vodka then took him to a party and now they are swapping emails, of which I am horribly jealous. Although this particular friend does like to embroider the truth, so I'm not exactly holding my breath for an introduction. Anyway, Simon Pegg! The party where I was told this was very good indeed, so good that I stayed until dawn without even once wanting to leave.

In other news I have not been getting enough sleep this week (neighbours above who make their cats wear little wooden clogs. Or Something) and this is extremely boring because it means I can't focus on anything effectively on the train to and from work.

This weekend I am going to sleep lots, write lots, possibly drink a large amount of red wine tonight. Go swimming for the first time since the 27th of December because the Podge Level is rising. Buy some cream that conceals dark rings under eyes.

It has something to do with the ice cream that [livejournal.com profile] toscas_kiss left in my freezer bad thing that I had under my arm, which was not life threatening or anything like that, but completely drained me in January through becoming infected and sore. I had to wear human sticky tape and padding under my arm and there is nothing like seeing oneself in the mirror wearing human sticky tape to make one feel decrepit. It made swimming impossible too. It is to be excised by the dermatology department, if they ever phone me back.

I hope you're feeling less decrepit now! Get lots of rest! And porn. And, go away, bad thing.

I am jealous of both your friend's Simon Pegg story and your Simon Pegg dream. My dreams are populated mainly by cats, although they tend not to wear little wooden clogs.

Why am I still on the computer when I should be sleeping? Why haven't I finished packing, come to that? Ah, these are the mysteries of life.

Oh! And Boots do a marvellous set of serums (sera?) that promise youthful undark-circled skin - I used "Refine and Rewind" paranoically for a couple of weeks before the school do and discovered it really did make wrinkles look less wrinkly. I may start taking baths in it.

Oh, I will get some tomorrow, maybe enough to dunk my entire face in.
