Oh, I cried so hard at that story. *sniffles* It's sad, but very true. I especially liked the bit in your fic where Sanzo said he'd never ask Goku to stay, because that's so like him, and then Goku said he wasn't going to leave anyway, because that's so like him. *wibbles and hugs you* Thanks for the lovely fic.
