My exciting life
Jun. 4th, 2009 11:20 pmThing the first: I posted a hoooge Rafa picspam over on
fedal_slash
Thing the second: The tennis rps kink meme has generated some amazing smut already, and it's still going. Go over and have a read, or leave a new prompt, or write something!
Thing the third: there is no thing the third. Apart from a general wail of 'oh tennis, you break my heart, what a beastly stressful fandom to be in'. Roger is into the semi finals of the French Open, the only slam he has never won. Rafa is out, shocking everyone because he has never lost a match there until now. Mandy is out, Djojovic is out. The field is open for Roger to finally win (eta: this is not a jinx). If he does win it, it will be the accomplishment that defines his whole career. Who knows. Roger might decide he can't play tennis very well anymore, or be too nervous to hit the ball right.
*sweats*
No pressure or anything, Roger. All you need is a positive attitude!
The semi final is tomorrow.
Also today, I voted (Labour, not that it's going to do them much good), played actual tennis, and actually did not accomplish much else today apart from sitting in the garden and reading a Lynne Truss book: 'Tennyson's Gift'. Not a bad day, all round.
