I put four nummy Saiyuki recs up at miladysboudoir.

I hate Blackwells staff - they always look at me as if I've got two heads, or am foaming at the mouth. People who've met me - you know I've only got the one and I very rarely foam. When I've ordered things in the past, I can guarantee that a) I won't get a phone call to let me know it's arrived and b) they will stare at me blankly when I go to ask about it.  Bah!  But, amazingly, Blackwells have just texted me (!) to tell me that my copy of volume one of From Eroica With Love has arrived at last. Mmm, my shiny, bad tempered Major, you are finally mine!

Really? Blackwells staff love me. And what's scarier, staff who I swear I've only met twice have been known to pull out my comics bag on approaching the desk. Mind you, it is a happy occasion to see them knee-deep in re-sorting the posters section and then start pulling out Jack Sparrow posters for mutual drooling.

And so it is you who got the only copy they had in. They mentioned someone had, and you must be it. Though they promised to put one aside when more came in. Tell me how it is, pwease?

I'm probably being mean, cos actually they're always willing to find stuff out for me - I think it's more a case of them being terminally disorganised and losing my phone number.

Heh. Yes, it's me- the only other Eroica fan in town *g* . I'll certainly let you know what it's like-- I've heard some good things about it, like it being as slashy, if not more, as the original. I should be picking it up tomorrow. yay!
