The Asphyx
Jul. 22nd, 2004 12:27 pmLast night I did a google search for 'soul trapped under car park'.
One of the results on the first page was: Framlingham - the jewel of Suffolk. Now, I know these small towns can be a bit suffocating, but I pity the poor people of Framlingham ...
The reason for the search was that neither me or Mr Lux could remember the title of a particular film. It featured a man who ended up with his soul trapped in a safe, which over time became buried under a large modern building. I eventually found it through IMDB and a vague notion that it featured Robert Powell. Of course you all know the film I'm talking about. The Asphyx! We both remember it as being one of the most chilling films we ever saw as children, especially the moment when Robert Stephens (who plays the man with his soul trapped under a car park) turns round at the end to reveal - really really bad 'old age' make-up.
