The slashtastic C/A is done! The train home was good. Not only did the fic get done, but there were two men, who, if you carefully dissected their DNA and then blended them together and then cloned the result, would look exactly like my mental image of Aziraphale.
So, anyway, the remix2 fic is due soon ish and have I even thought about it at all? No.

Date: 2004-03-03 05:06 pm (UTC)Okay, let's see...
1. a movie -- The new Peter Pan. I cannot *tell* you how much I loved this movie. It's so rich and lush and sexy and fun. I went to see it three days in a row over the Christmas holidays! Watching it is like getting a massage; it's not necessarily going to enlighten you in any way, but boy isn't it delish?
2. a book -- Yikes! Pinning down *one* book is harder than picking a movie! Okay, it's going to have to be a tie between 'The Road Less Traveled' by Scott Peck, which *totally* changed my life, and the Vorkosigan Series by Lois McMaster Bujold, which made me fall completely, madly and irrevocably in love with her characters. (Starts with 'Shards of Honor' or [the omnbibus] 'Cordelia's Honor' but my fave is 'Mirror Dance.')
3. a musical artist, song, or album -- Another toss-up. Artist would be Maria Callas. Her voice is so amazing; almost odd, but beautiful. I always think of it as 'furry.' The other rec would be the soundtrack from the movie 'A Life Less Ordinary.' A few of the songs at the end are kind of 'eh' but the rest are a delight.
4. a LiveJournal user not on my friends list --
5. what I should have for dinner -- Veal Picatta from Rosario's (which is, unfortunately for you, in Texas). Rosario's is one of those small town restaurants where the chairs are uncomfortable and the salad bar is disgusting, but the entrees are a tiny slice of Italian heaven, and there's plenty of fresh baked bread to soak up the sauce. (And trust me, you want to soak up every *molecule* of Rosario's picatta sauce!) Come visit me and I'll take you there!
6. a website -- Amatory Ink (http://www.amatory-ink.com/), which has e-published my story "Amelia" in their Green section. (And I swear, it really is much better than the sneak peek might lead you to believe!)
7. a work of art (preferably with link) -- The Blank Signature or The Blank Check (http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?aid=85097&item=382536) (I've seen it called both) by Rene Magritte. I love this picture, probably because I love the double take it produces -- it's much more subtle than some of his other stuff, so it takes a second for the brain to see what's 'wrong' (and probably because I'm still a horse-mad teenaged girl at heart). I have a framed print of this pic in my bedroom. :)
