louiseluxGot home from work last night, rejoicing over 48 hours of non-work, developed horrid cold almost instantly. I feel like someone kicked me down the stairs. Whine, moan.
M managed to tempt me out shopping though, and then even came into Lush with me, which is unprecedented. I got two nice smelly things: some minty 'devil in the dark' soap for Crowley, and some other stuff that smells just like dirt, but in a good way. Mmmm, earthy.
I picked up some lovely 1940's King Penguins in the secondhand bookshop, all with gorgeous illustrations: sea birds, roses and 17th and 18th C British military uniforms.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
daegaer, you might want to see them, as the soldiers depicted are *very* manly indeed. *g* I think I'll scan the best ones and put them on my site. I'll let you know when they're up.
