I "played" actual tennis today, the first time ever. It's harder than it looks, that's all I'm saying.

Also, Mandy just went out in the second round in Rome, against Juan Monaco! Oh dear oh dear. He looked pretty moody out there, like this :[]

1. I love "playing" actual tennis, tho I've only done it 4 or 5 times in my life. I'm in such terrible shape that really limits how much I can do, but I still have so much fun.

I tried tennis once. You are right when you say it's harder than it looks. Had a hard time moving the next day. Everything hurt.

Yes about that tennis thing. I bought my first racket ever 2 weeks ago. I've got a very strong coach/opponent: my 8 year old. She's never played before either. I've discovered that we both suffer a severe lack of eye/hand coordination.

This is all your fault, too. You and eleanor k (who I haven't seen posting in quite a while).

Yes, the tennis "playing" was severely limited by my non existant skills, but at least I only hit it out of the actual court a few times...

Oh Mand, I admit that I am not too sad, because I would be having a minor crisis if Roger's no.2 place was under (more) threat.

Reading this post makes me feel so guilty about my not having played any tennis since AO *facepalm* It aches all over but the feeling you get after is worth it, no? :D
