I'm away to in-laws until Saturday. We'll be celebrating the traditional way, with vast quantities of food. However you are celebrating, or even if you are not, I wish you all love, happiness and good health for the coming year. I cherish you, my flist.

I'm glad it arrived. Also, I must thank you most heartily for your card, and for the delightful moment in which my mother selected it from the mantelpiece, eyed the pants, did a surreptitious doubletake, then informed me that it was terribly thoughtful of you to send me "such a nice... package for Christmas."

There's life in the old girl yet, and it's a great little holiday memory to add to the list. :)
