Crowley stared into the window of Kandies Kards. Most of it was intestinal pink, apart from a buff-coloured man-sized teddy bear. Crowley peered more closely. It stared back at him, its black button eyes glinting in the display lights in plastic misery. Its name, on a dangling gold tag attached to its ear, was Anthony. It wore a blue waistcoat, but no trousers, leaving its lower half nude. He wondered briefly if Aziraphale would appreciate the sentiment. Probably not.
He wandered on, stopping to buy overpriced cappuccinos and a bag of chocolate muffins, still warm from the oven. Nothing fancy. Just a lot of it. He grinned to himself and walked on, more quickly now, enjoying the sunshine on his face. When he got there, the shop looked closed but Crowley could see Aziraphale sitting at his desk, peering out through the dusty window. Cars and vans rumbled past and people streamed around him, busy and loud and every one of them ignoring Aziraphale's shop, just as if it wasn't there. The back room would be quiet, away from the world. Crowley tapped on the window with a fingernail. Aziraphale smiled and the door swung open.

i love this. the first paragraph is just perfect--the implicit snark, the sneaky punch of 'aww' at the end! He wondered briefly if Aziraphale would appreciate the sentiment. Probably not.
