Post anything that you want (in comments), and post it Anonymously. Anything. A story, a secret, a confession, a fear, a love, A picture? -- anything. However, just be sure to post Anonymously and honestly. Post twice if you'd like, or even maybe a thousand times. It doesn't really matter. Have some input (or an output?). Then, put this in your own journal to see what your friends (and perhaps others who you don't even realize read your LJ) have to say. ETA: turned of IP logging!

Date: 2005-02-10 04:08 pm (UTC)In January, I created a fansite with reviews of all his books, all the articles he's written, details of all the events he's been involved with that I could find online - it's a thing of beauty, and very professional, although completely unauthorised. And it's sitting on my home computer because making it live would make him look less like a proper historian and more like a piece of fangirl crumpet, and also because it makes me look like a complete idiot.
It'll wear off eventually, but in the meantime, aren't these crushes terribly tiring? All that creative energy, physical energy (self-pleasuring when my boyfriend is out), intellectual energy (reading military history books takes it out of you even if you do normally read non-fic), and it's all for nothing. I thought I would grow out of this sort of thing now I'm in my late 30s, but apparently not.
Thanks for the chance to get this off my chest...
