Weekend so far

We had a great day shopping today: books, sausages, vodka and drugs, plus trying on of dresses, jewellery and lots of coffee and tea drinking. It was fab!

daegaer found a book called 'The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes', a compendium of detective stories featuring such characters as Loveday Brooke, Lady Detective. I also made her buy 'Shakespeare's Secret' by JL Carroll, which is a very silly but entertaining read. I couldn't resist The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski, about Geralt, a white haired assassin with piercing eyes and, very probably, a complicated past.

The vodka was caramel flavoured and the drugs were not really very exciting decongestants. I made toad in the hole with the sausages, and we watched The Orphanage and felt traumatised.

Also, a great find - Wa Japanese restaurant in Reading. We had the salmon and tuna bento boxes for dinner last night. The salmon teryaki and the sushi was super delicious, and really good inari zushi (favourite food of fox spirits, daegaer says)

We've also watched eps 1-3 of Supernatural season 4, with all the beautiful emo acting. Love.
