emungere, my dearly loved enabler, and to new_kate for beta and encouragement. I always think of this story as 'the end of Ni'. I don't know what prompted me to write it, just that I've been thinking about him recently. Any concrit and feedback would be much appreciated.
Summary: Houtou castle is under attack. Ni has a prisoner in his lab.
