Red Kite in Reading
Jul. 10th, 2006 02:38 pmI saw a beautiful red kite on Saturday. Red Kite as in one of these, or this.
But it wasn't in the countryside that surrounds Reading, where there are quite a few red kites now. Instead, it was flying very low and slowly over West Street, in the very centre of town. It was quite clearly looking for food to scavenge. Or possibly baby pigeons nesting on roof ledges. Amazing.
