Well, I did f-all work today and now I feel quite bad about it. But I did buy some cards, feed the birds, write some more of various things and have a nice lunch.
I watched The Descent (potholing horror) last night and thought it was absolutely terrifying, although the parts where they were squeezing through tiny gaps were far more scary than being chased by the nasty pale things. The violence of the second part was actually something of a let down after the claustrophobia of the first and I thought the gore got out of hand to the detriment of the fear, but otherwise it was excellent, just as gut-churning as Open Water and The Blair Witch Project, which are the only two horror films to have impressed me in the past few years.
On a different note, any more takers for the Christmas
cards poll? I'm going to be efficient and start writing them soon. I have insane amounts of glitter.
Oh, and I finally got to hear Akira Ishida singing. Well, I can tell why he doesn't like his singing voice but he's not as bad as I expected, really. Bless him.
