I'm back at work. My brain, it's meltiiiing.
A copy of Endless Nights is stowed in my bag, ready to be signed. I wish I had a nice copy of Good Omens to get signed too, but I've only got a horrible copy, the one with the picture on the front where Crowley looks like Nick Cotton from Eastenders and Aziraphale looks disturbingly like Sting (my eyes!). I try my very best not to picture them like that, I really do. And all the pages are falling out anyway.
So hopefully, crossing fingers that Virgin Trains doesn't choose today to have its weekly meltdown, I shall get to Oxford by 6.30 ish and meet
ntamara and
derryderrydown, and there are strong rumours that
foreverdirt will be in attendance too. Then I'm planning a couple of hours of pathetic fangirl drooling over that nice Mr Gaiman.
What is it about trains? It's starting to get worrying. I got started on my Nano novel this morning and immediately wrote a scene where poor confused angelic Crowley gets pushed up against a bookcase and molested by nasty demon Aziraphale. He got a lot less confused quite quickly. I hadn't planned anything like that at all. Honestly. Not that I'm too upset by it; now I've written it it might as well go in.
