Once more into Waterstone's to see Kiar's man, but he wasn't there again. I'm beginning to think he imagined the whole thing.

Conversation at dinner last night was funny. Vik made vegeburgers from scratch and I got roped into helping, even though it wasn't my night. It was one of those use-every-implement-in-the-kitchen meals which Vik is so good at, and she got quite tense when her burgers started to collapse in the frying pan. The mushy stuff and string theory is that everything is held together basically by...mushy stuff with stringy bits mixed in, like: vegeburgers, wattle and daub, reinforced concrete, human bodies, fibreglass. Hum.

There's this funny page called the portal: it's like the normal update page, but has Frank the goat on, and you can change what he says. There's a list of my friends with their birthdays displayed. Best of all is that you can have a random choice of users shown. It's pretty nifty, but I don't know how to set it as the default update page.
