She's also most graciously translated an interview winth Seki Toshihiko, who it turns about is about as adorable as Sanzo isn't. I love his little insights into Sanzo's relationships with the other characters. And he talks about the other seiyuus too! I love that he begins to see them as the characters when they're acting, rather than as themselves. I can remember at least one panel in the manga when I'm pretty sure the ikkou are drawn as caricatures of the seiyuus and you can kind of see some resemblance creeping through.

He is, it's one of the loveliest things about him, and that he hides it.

It's also one of the loveliest things about the dynamic between him and Hakkai. Because Hakkai knows, and sees through him, and loves him for it.

It's also one of Mildmay's most endearing traits, too, now I think of it.

It's true, Mildmay can't bear to expose any side of himself that he thinks people might mock. It's interesting that Felix also sees this and pretty much ruthlessly uses it to belittle him, and also, Felix being almost the opposite means he doesn't understand how much this hurts Mildmay. I think.

I think it's also that Felix loves him for it, and Felix really can't handle how much he loves/wants Mildmay.

Poor Felix. So fucked up. And even more poor Mildmay, because he's so helpless when it comes to whatever Felix decides to do to him. *sniffle*

Well, Sanzo may not be "even a little adorable," but I think Seki Toshihiko calling Hirata Hiroaki "Hiro-chan" sure is.

I also like his insights into the various characters. I think he's pretty spot on in his assessment of Gojyo's character (and if that isn't some 53 shipping material, I don't know what is), and the Sanzo/Goku relationship. I am still thinking about his comments about Hakkai, although he might be onto something there. Hakkai does make people uncomfortable, including at times his closest friends.

Anyway, that was pretty cool.
