Antique Bakery flashfic - Truth
Eight minutes of Tachibana and Chikage for
elfiepike - okay, maybe it was more like 15....
Of course it had been Ono's decision to stay, to not run off with Jean-Bastard or whatever his name was. Tachibana's failed sex-bribing had nothing to do with it, he was sure.
It was a relief Ono had lost interest in him. It really was.
He put on his third best apron and set the small wooden step ladder up in front of the window. The sheets of plate glass were dusty and splattered with pavement grime at the base, from when the rain had thundered down.
Ono was making the morning croissant dough and Kanda was helping. His boxing muscles came in useful for mixing, Ono liked to say, with an impressed look. Tachibana flexed his bicep and pinched it between two fingers. Not bad, even if he was getting on a bit. A very little bit.
Tachibana didn't trust Chikage to not step in the water bucket or fall headlong into the cake display. Instead, Chikage was standing by, gripping the ladder so tightly it was shaking.
"You don't have to cling on. "It's only three feet high and I'm a grown man."
"I want to help you. I couldn't bear it if anything happened to my Lord!"
Tachibana sucked in breath through his teeth. Chikage would keep saying things like this. He was so painfully… honest. As if lying to Tachibana would kill him.
Sex is like a field of flowers
He thought back to Ono sitting opposite him in the diner, laughing, and wondered if he was as honest as Chikage.

Though my first love is Ono/Cho, Ono/Tachibana is slowly growing my me :D
