My life
A very nice person phoned from the PC World customer service centre to remind me that if my laptop wasn't back from the menders by the first of December, I should go back to the shop and claim my dues by the 28-day warranty rule, ie, I get a brand new one. I was quite stunned to be to offered this advice, quite unasked for.
Considering that I'd only had the 'old' laptop for 4 weeks before it broke, it seems wasteful to get a whole new one, but I'm tempted.
In other news I made an exceedingly rich fruit cake. I love recipes that stipulate two different grades of brown sugar. It's now steeping in brandy in a dark place.

yonmei's journal about the Ryairi Dougal rape case that was thrown out of court today, the guy who seems to have thought it was okay to have sex with a woman who was passed out drunk. Not only that, he was a security guard who was supposed to be making sure she got home okay.

eeee! You're hooked:) Sanzo in love is going to haunt me till I write it. I wonder how long it would take him to work out what that funny feeling was.

And the laptop news sound promising. I'd definitely go for it when the first of december comes without your laptop. It won't be all that wasteful, because they'll surely "recycle" it to sell on. :)

I'm trying to persuade the teacher to the manga side of the Force! Not with much success . . .

Her: Saiyuki, eh? Never heard of it. Ah, girl's manga, hmm. Assassins . . . *polite smile*
