Due South fanfic is like a huge fluffy duvet. I've spent the past two days wallowing in bed and on the settee reading all of Speranza's stuff - it gives me the same warm fuzzies as my paracetamol and codeine pills. Also, the TV episode where Fraser dresses up as a woman is just about the funniest thing ever, especially on lots of pain medication.

The Bad Arm seems less bad although still can't move it without some pain. I have an appointment with physio on Monday morning so hopefully they can tell me what's up with it.

Happy (late) birthday new_kate! I was hoping to join in your birthday writing challenge but Bad Arm stopped me until now, sadly. I'll see what I can do with one finger and a keyboard.

Yay for painkillers and crossdressing!Fraser! I hope the arm gets sorted out quickly, it sounds awful. The physio will probably do you a world of good (disguised as torture). Take lots of rest and don't type too much!

am trying not to type too much - it's actually quite painful to sit in the right position for any length of time :(

have you read chicago's most wanted yet, because that's one of her best, i think. also, american way by resonant is superb, and long.

Chicago's Most Wanted is still on the to-be-read list - as of right now, anyway. *snif* It will all be read soon . . .
I devoured read the fic at resonant's site before I got to speranza's ~ American Way was excellent, though Teeth of the Hydra ended up being my favorite of hers, I think.
