Hmmm, tricky. Probably not, because Sanzo is an equal opportunities ice queen. But Girl Gojyo might press different buttons of his like protectiveness or some sort of dormant chivalry, maybe. Would he let Girl Gojyo have her own room? Or open doors for her? Well, maybe not quite that, but his responses would be all confused.
Hee, that would be adorable. And I think he'd insist on her having her own room after she started undressing in front of him just to get to him. I'm trying to remember if he treats women any differently, but they just haven't run into that many. He was nicer than usual to Shunrei, but that might've been because he felt sorry for her. They all know what it's like to lose someone they love.
In Reload there's a woman he saves when his double starts shooting at him, and he kicks her the fuck out of his way as soon as humanly possible. I think he's an equal opportunity asshole. ♥
It's great, because in any other show/manga, it'd be a Touching Moment and they'd Learn More about Each Other. And Sanzo just kicks her the fuck out of his way. XD
Hee! I love the way he does that and that there's absolutely no sign of a Tender Moment where she thanks her rescuer. Athough it is fun to see him get up close and personal with a woman.
IMO, he'd be even less willing. He's spent his whole life in monastaries; I suspect that he's even less comfortable with women than he is with men. But that wouldn't stop Girl Gojyo from trying, would it?
That's a good point, though I'm not sure being familiar with men would really help, especially considering the men he's familiar with. Poor Sanzo. The only people he might possibly trust enough to do that with are the closest thing he has to a family. That's gotta be weird.
