permetform sent me scanlations of the rest of Saiyuki and I had to stay up late obsessively reading them. And guess what (and this will specifically interest tboy) we have a friendly neighbourhood chook! It was crowing at 6 am this morning. I've no idea when it arrived or where it lives. It's noisy but I did feel like I was at one with nature for about 10 seconds.

I'm becoming quite sooky and misty-eyed over Chooky's impending departure. Have become quite fond of him. If he didn't shit everywhere, want to eviscerate the cat, and be illegal in my area, I'd love to keep him ;-).
