Scrabble part 2, for Switchknife
Words of Love
Crowley's fingers were, appropriately, thought Aziraphale, in a daze, scrabbling at his trouser buttons, pulling them open. Now was not the time for puns.
'I didn't mean-- ' he began.
He saw a snapshot blink of Crowley, lips red, grinning and poised.
'I didn’t mean ... ' he said faintly, ' ... oh. Ah-- yes, oh-- that,' he sighed.
The Scrabble board tipped lazily off the table, scattering all its pieces over the floor, but neither of them noticed.
Later, on the rug, they giggled as they unstuck the white tiles from each other's skin. Some were stuck on hard, leaving red squares or the faint imprints of letters and values.
'S. E. X. Y,' Aziraphale said slowly, as he plucked them off various parts of Crowley's anatomy and laid them out.
'Of course I am,' Crowley said, preening.
Then Aziraphale's gentle fingers brushed off more letters, that spelled beautiful and then lover. Crowley didn’t laugh, but pressed him to the floor and kissed him for a long time, long enough to roll him in all the pieces and get them stuck back on again.
From the letters on Aziraphale's body Crowley silently spelled out friend and love, I and you.

*melts into a shivering, moaning puddle of joy*
From playfully hurried to slow and sensual--what would the phrase be? Ah, yes. 'Sweet and lowdown.' I was aching with the loveliness of it--and yes, Scrabble tiles sticking to one's skin! How well I remember that! (*shifty eyes* Just don't ask me how. Suffice to say that I had... reasons for asking you for this. ;D)
Crowley's words at the end just about broke my heart with joy, so filled with delight was I. Oh, Crowley.
*watches over them tenderly*

Listen. Very few people--VERY few--write Crowley/Aziraphale sex. This is a great tragedy. Now, don't get me wrong, I delight in PG, subtexty, canon-like C/A, but every now and then I have this deep thirst for some full-on kissing, if nothing more. Thank you so much for slaking my thirst.
For now.
*smiles challengingly, if still a little lazily*

The sex thing... I know. I feel your challenge *g* I love to write about them having sex, but have only done it twice, er, three times now, or is it four? It's quite hard to make it work with them - they're a bit resistant to getting into bed together:-) Although saying that, I have just written a very slashy A/C fic that I'm sure I'll be posting soon.
Now I'm wodering about you and the scrabble?

I like writing, but I'm not sure writing has taken a reciprocal liking for me...
(my usual fannish contribution consists of icons, but since this is a purely book fandom, there's not much I can do in this respect.)
thanks for the encouragement :D

Crowley *is* very melty. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to know he had an army of fangirls trailing after him;-)

*clears throat* They get to have sex! And it is sweet and sexy and the last line makes me go sqooshy. Lovelovelove.
I also really like the detail of them picking Scrabble tiles off each other.

Gosh. Do that again, it was marvellous ;-).
The giggling, and then the 'not laughing', and the rolling and the gentle brushing of fingers and the silence... *sniiiiff*
'Twas simply wonderful.

I think that there are things they might be too shy to say to each other, that the Scrabble tiles come in handy for. I'm really pleased you liked this.
