Sunny Tuesday

I got home late last night, and got here early this morning- I think I'll start sleeping under the desk. But it's sunny and warm and I'm in a good mood, and I have it on good authority that there is an unread (by me) Sherlock Holmes slash novel just put up on the web.

Factoid
Unrelated in any way to anything, except possibly my job, the term 'carat' comes from 'carob'. Carob beans are apparently of an extremely uniform weight, roughly 1/5th of a gram, which made them ideal for ancient gem traders. I've no idea if a one carat diamond these days still weighs the equivalent of one carob seed though.

Could I possibly have the URL for the Holmes slash novel? I've just got into reading Holmes slash and would be very grateful. Also, do you have any other stories you would rec in that fandom?

Oooh, another Holmes fan!

The url for the novel is: http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~violetn/

I haven't had a chance to read any of her stuff yet- it's just been put on the web from zine format.

And other stories I'd recommend are:
After Marcini's by Gael X Ile (M Fae Glasgow), which you can find here in PDF format, along with her other Holmes stories.

Also, read 'Absurdly Simple', by Irene Adler at Sacrilege! There are loads more stories there, too, of varying quality, so it's best to poke around and see what you find. The site format is frames, unfortunately.
