Being reminded of the general wonderfulness of Christian Bale, I had a look for 'Reign of Fire' slash today but sadly found nary a scrap. A bit surprising, because it was quite glaringly obvious that Van Zan was in love with Quinn, looking at him with those big puppy eyes. They were in love with each other. They were! It's Mr Orange/Mr White all over again.

Excitement! Our new lawnmower is arriving tonight, courtesy of some friends, and I'm rewarding them with dinner. If it doesn't rain I'm going to buy one of those barbeques-in-a-tray and we can sit in the garden and watch M mow stuff. One sniff of a mowing opportunity and he's in there, mowing.

Send M round to my place! The house has virtually disappeared under grass before we can face getting out there and cutting it. Not helped by having to contend with the petrol mower of doom.

Womad! Thanks for reminding me. It's soon isn't it? I think I'll probably go on the Saturday this year, if I go at all. Your petrol mower sounds scary. We used to have one that took about 35 hard pulls to get it started, before it rusted and fell to bits. Good for annoying the neighbours though.
