Buffy Interruptus

I am stuck in the stone age, TV-wise, with only terrestrial channels, and I couldn't help but notice that there was no Buffy this week. Thank you so much, BBC. I fail to see how they can show reruns of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' every night for what seems like a decade, and not be able to show one complete series of Buffy without interrupting it with snooker, darts, golf or, (checks tv guide) Top of the Pops 2! (Add in about twenty exclamation marks here). Aaargh. I got so frustrated once that I wrote to complain about their Buffy programming, (yes, I really did). They wrote back saying that they had to cater to all their viewers; even those desperate souls who apparently on Thursday needed a fix of shite pop music.
