lj in a year

I'm still in my queen of the night pajamas, meaning I have 15 minutes to get washed and dressed and out the door and not be late for lunch.

The morning is going very slowly, yes. The work christmas do yesterday afternoon went well, by which I mean no one got so drunk they couldn't speak and I didn't cry, unlike last year (my boss was the one who got so drunk etc). Arm news: it is quite a lot better than this time last week. Less pain, far fewer tingles. My osteopath on Friday was blond and handsome and blue eyed. Bonus.

From [livejournal.com profile] daegaer: the first sentence of the first public post of each month.

January: Happy new year, everyone

February: Saiyuki/Batman crossover of doom part five.

March: Name a character or pairing! Watch me ramble on about it!

April: Stray thoughts about the latest Saiyuki chapters:

May: Notes: this story probably needs a little background before you read it.

June: I did want to try to talk about this in more detail, but everything ended up sounding like a poor double entendre (I have a problem with pussy!).

July: Oh the tragedy of a paid account expiring.

August: Hey, it's 58 day!

September: Thanks for the comments on the last ones!

October: So, where did the week go?

November: Brian Aldiss on being 80: "I can remember when our town got its first traffic lights. And when bright-coloured plastic washing-up bowls came in."

December: I dreamed about frogs last night - tiny little ones patterned like sea shells, that I was afraid of squishing with my toes.

Eeee, patterned frogs. Pretty. I dreamed of some really fascinating books about linguistics the other night, and I was upset when I woke up and realised they didn't exist. I was also walking around with a childhood friend at the Royal Cornwall Show discussing the merits of balconies and got brain damage trying to get out of the college library, so yeah. It was a very strange dream.

Yay about the arm getting better! Yay! My PT was one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen. Just unbelievable, beyond model gorgeous.

Our holiday work party is never very interesting. They don't let us have any booze. I suppose that's a good thing, considering some of the people who work there.

On the pj front: I love to spend the day in PJs. Haven't in a long time, cause I always have to take the dog out to pee at the crack of dawn out front, but I am wearing my rattiest, most comfortable ancient pair of jeans. It makes me feel wonderfully rebellious, even though there's no one to rebel against. Heh.

Yay! Glad the arm is feeling better. That is good news indeed!

I'm glad that your Christmas do went well and that your arm is feeling a bit better.

I like the meme, I might give that a go myself ^_^!
